Manage Game

Game management is needed due to the overpopulation of deer. With this problem comes overgrazing of the vegetation, increase of deer related automobile accidents, and occasional deer attacks on residents and pets. With less vegetation, the deer begin to forage in lawns and gardens and competition with native animals often negatively impacts other native animal populations.

A neighborhood that has a high deer population has a greater chance o having predators such as coyote come into the neighborhood. This will prey not only on the deer, but on domestic pets as well.

Deer carry ticks which in turn harbor lyme disease. As a deer population grows, problems with ticks increase significantly. Proper deer population management reduces the number of ticks.

I enjoy working with and helping to manage wild game populations.
